Lincoln Co-Pilot360 is a range of safety features you’ll find in every Lincoln. It uses cameras, sensors, and radar to watch areas you can’t and give you a heads up when you need it. As your Lincoln dealer, we want to tell you more about some of the amazing Lincoln safety features you’ll find on your 2024 model.

Exploring the 2024 Lincoln Safety Features

Pre-Collision Alter with Automatic Emergency Braking

This feature uses a camera and radar to detect any vehicle or pedestrian in front of you. The radar will determine the distance between your front bumper and the object ahead if something is detected. The system will then use your current speed to identify if the situation presents a collision risk. An alert will sound, and visual warnings will appear on your screen if a collision is imminent.

If you don’t brake in time, the system applies automatic braking to stop your Lincoln and prevent an accident or reduce its effects.

Blind-Spot Information System

No matter how hard you try, you can’t see vehicles or pedestrians that move into one of your vehicle’s blind spots. This can make changing lanes very dangerous in traffic, as it could result in an accident. This system comes to the rescue. It uses sensors to continually monitor any blind spots and will instantly warn you if anything enters one.

Its Cross Traffic Alert watches directly behind your vehicle and warns of any vehicles that might cross your path. This gives you time to brake and avoid an accident.

Rear View Camera

Reversing has always been stressful for many drivers. Continually watching the rearview and side mirrors or even turning your head distracts you from what’s happening in front of you. When you shift into reverse, your rear camera activates, and the view behind you appears on your screen. This makes reversing much safer, and the system also generates guidelines for you to follow.

Lane-Keeping System

Straying from your lane, even for a few seconds, can cause an accident. This feature uses a forward camera to identify the lane lines. If your wheels move into another lane without you actively steering, a warning sounds. The system also supplies extra torque to enable you to quickly and safely shift back into your lane.

Auto High-Beam Headlamps

High beams are vital when you’re driving on a dark road. They allow you to see easier and further than low beams. Despite their benefits, they can also temporarily blind other drivers. These headlamps have sensors inside them that can detect oncoming headlights and switch your headlamps to low beams until the other vehicle has passed.
